Perfectly Simple

To take my previous post a little further... God is showing me how perfectly wonderful it is to simplify! I have read that in Hebrew, the word for simple and perfect are derived from the same.... the words tam and tamin. I did a short search of some of my favorite verses and find this thought very interesting. Here’s just a few: “God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18:32‬ ‭NLT‬ “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ “God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18:30‬ ‭NLT‬‬
